In one of the loveliest valleys in Wales surrounded by woods and farmland whose titles date from the 14 th century. The Maerdy was once the home farm of the historic Robert Peel Estate in the ancient district of Dinefwr.

The 300-year old farmhouse and its original stone buildings have been beautifully converted into six cottages sleeping between 3 and 10 people. Two of the cottages are totally wheelchair accessible. These cottages enjoy a tranquil setting amongst mature and natural wooded gardens with a stream. Furnished with many antiques and well equipped throughout, they are warm, welcoming and cosy retreats ideal for a holiday at any time of the year, and perfect for relaxing winter breaks.

The grounds offer plenty of space for children and dogs, and lovely walks straight from the cottage doors will delight country lovers, bird watchers and serious hikers alike.
